About Jhunne

Jhunne Galimba is an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with background in Family Practice. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Nursing at University of Missouri Kansas City.

He has been a registered nurse since 1997 and became an advanced practice nurse in 2013. He has been with Providence Medical Center since 1997 joined the Providence Department of Cardiology in 2014. He has had the privilege of working in various specialties. His accomplishments prior to joining cardiology are in the field of orthopaedics. These include helping community outreach programs through the Arthritis Foundation, writing an article published in Journal of Orthopaedic Nursing entitled Promoting the Use of Multimodal Periarticular Injection for Total Knee Arthroplasty for which he was honored they chose to use as a continuing education piece.

Jhunne loves the challenges in Orthopaedics and Neuroscience but his enthusiasm to learn new things brought him to cardiology. His compassion, enthusiasm, knowledge, and skills have made him an integral part of the cardiology team. He is originally from the Philippines and moved to Hawaii to attend college. He currently resides in Olathe, Kansas with his wife Michaela, 4 children, 2 dogs, and a cat. He enjoys traveling and landscaping. His sports passions are golf and football and watching his children play.
